Alex Alincy, Visionary
Alex is one of the most special young men I have ever met," says Bill Howard. - President of Alex's House. Long before Alex's House was founded, Alex had a vision for providing housing and shelter for orphaned and homeless children in Haiti. He believed that God had spoken to him, and that this was His calling on his life. Alex met Bill, and discovered that God had given him the same vision. Despite Alex's death in the January 12, 2010 earthquake, his vision lives on through Patrick, Jimmy, Bill, and now so many others who have joined forces in tribute to this amazing young man. His memory lives on as lives are changed every day at "Alex's House."

Jimmy Georges, Co-Director (on right) Jimmy serves as co-director of Alex's House with his brother Patrick. Jimmy has a great heart for the Lord, and spends a lot of time teaching the children and instructing them about the Gospel. His warm heartedness and humor make you feel like you've known him forever!
Patrick Georges, Co-Director (on left) Patrick co-directs the daily operations of Alex's House with his brother Jimmy. Patrick is also our primary translator, and is very involved in leading the community in church services on a weekly basis. His love and patience with the children are exceptional.
Frantz & Mireille serve as house parents in our Malachi boy's cottage. Their two beautiful children Daicassline and Brenkley live with them here at Alex's House. Mireille is very special to us as she is Alex's older sister.
When asked what her favorite memory of Alex's was, Mireille responded: "His PASSION . . . his passion for the street kids of Haiti. He had a desire to rescue." What a honor and privilege to have Alex's family serve alongside of us.
Pastor Joseph & Edna Dorcean
The Dorcean family are the newest house parents on site. The joined our family along with their children Jersey & Vander in August of 2013.
Pastor Dorcean leads a church in Lanzac. He brings a great new level of discipleship for our children. Edna serves alongside him in parenting the older boys.
Pastor challenges the boys to game of Dominos nearly every day and Edna loves helping fix the younger girls hair!

Kendall is an Arkansas native who was born and raised in Jonesboro, AR. She graduated from Arkansas State University with a degree in Public Relations, which she put to great use as the Director of Public Relations for Families Outreach before coming to serve with us. Families Outreach is an Alex’s House Partnering organization that provides adoption grants and supports orphan care around the globe. As you can expect, Kendall will be a great asset and tremendous blessing to our Alex's House family.
Kendall is the proud aunt of 3 nieces and 2 nephews, enjoys cooking and is slightly obsessed with Disney World. When asked what sold her on Alex’s House, she responded, “the selling point for me was during my trip over Spring Break when I saw that Alex’s House is dedicated to creating passionate disciples of Jesus Christ. I saw Matthew 28:16-20 happening and I wanted to be a part of it.”
